Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce
The Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization made up of business and professional people sharing a common goal - the economic development of the capital region.
The Chamber's over 1000 members reflect a diverse network of small, medium and large businesses from almost every industry sector and business profession. Through service on the Chamber Board, a Chamber Committee, or a Task Force, members express their views, direct and shape the activities and programs of the Chamber.The Chamber is financed through membership investment.
The Chamber accomplishes collectively what no business can do alone. The Chamber's primary role is advocacy. It represents its membership on issues affecting business and the community including: the provincial, federal and municipal budgets, economic development issues, infrastructure and transportation issues, and other areas that affect the members- ability to grow and prosper.
The Chamber provides a variety of benefits to its members including access to the Canadian Chamber Group Insurance Plan, attractive credit and debit card discounts, assistance with exporting, and a variety of opportunities to promote one's business.
Education is another key service provided by the Chamber. Recognizing the challenges faced by its members in providing timely, practical, and affordable training for staff, the Chamber offers a variety of workshops, seminars and other programs of interest to its members.
